The June Gallery is Up!

Hi there everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that the June Design Team gallery is now up! Click on the photo album on the left side of this blog to see the great inspiration we have for you this month!

This month's two assignments are:

• Scrap a layout with your LEAST favorite color!
• Scrap a Current Event or Something in "real life" going on around you and how it effects you or your family.

The May gallery is up! Enjoy!

Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful week! The May gallery is now up!!

The challenges for the design team this month were:

• Scrap your baby photo - Can you guess who is who? :) We've left the names off of those layouts so that later in the week we can see if you can take on the challenge of figuring out just which baby is which design team member. Be sure to check back to see when that challenge takes place. :)
• Shape it Up  - create a layout out that is any shape but a square or rectangle.

We hope that you enjoy our projects! As always you can find the design team's projects in the "Current Month's DT Projects" folder on the left side of the blog. The previous month's DT projects are in the photo album just below that one and if you'd like to see the project archives you can click on each design team members name on the right side of the blog and see all of the layouts/projects each person has created.

Today's the day...

First of all, myself and the entire design team want to wish our sweet friend (and awesome owner of A Million Little Things), Jill a fabulous birthday today! We love her and are so thankful that we have been given the wonderful opportunity and blessing to be on her design team and represent her store. :) I'm thankful to have been on the design team since the beginning and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Jill and AMLT are like my second family. :) So - enjoy your day today, Jill! We know you're taking some time off and having some family fun, but we hope you check in today.

In honor of your birthday today, the design team has each made you a birthday card! :) You'll find them in this month's photo album as well! :)

Check out the latest projects by the design team on the left side of the blog in the "Current Month DT Projects" photo album!

The assignments this month are:

• Patterned Paper mix up :  Use 10 patterned papers on one single layout, and you can only duplicate manufacturers once. (You must use at at least 5 different manufacturers)

• Scraplift Yourself : Find inspiraton from a layout or design you have already created. You'll see the layouts side-by-side and I've also included just the layout created by the inspiration so that you can get an even better look at it! :)

March Design Team Gallery is up!

Hi everyone! The March design team gallery is now up so click on the "Current Month DT Projects" folder on the left side of the blog here and check them out! Just like every month, there are lots and lots of great ideas and inspiration for you!

This month's two assignments were:

• Bad Photos? Use them anyway! Make your layout shine even with a bad photo!
• 5,4,3,2,1 this assignment was to use the following on your layout: 5 pieces of patterned paper; 4 different embellishments; 3 photos; 2 tools and 1 journaling box.

February Design Team Projects are up!

Hi everyone! Kristina here! Today is the 5th and you know what that means! Yep, there's a new batch of awesome design team projects up for you to check out! This month's assignments were:

• Emellishments on a budget - make your own embellishments
• Tons of Thickers - load 'em up, mix 'em up, use 'em and abuse 'em

I just love what everyone came up with and I hope you are inspired by them, too! Just a reminder that you can find our design team projects each month in the "Current DT Projects" photo album on the left-hand side of the blog. Below that photo album is where you can find the previous design team projects each month and we're happy to tell you that we've added personal galleries for each member of our design team on the right-hand side of the blog. Those photo albums will contain A LOT of work from each design team member so that you can see a wide range of each person's work, not just the work each person does for AMLT.

January Project Gallery

Hi everyone! Today's the day the new design team gallery is up! We hope that you'll enjoy the inspiration that we have for you. Because of the holidays, the only assignment for the month of January was to share one layout that we did during the month of December. December Design Team Projects are up!

Hi there everyone! Happy December to you! I just wanted to let you all know that the December design team projects are now up on the blog. You can find them by looking in the photo album on the left side of the blog under "Current Month DT Projects." This month's assignments were:

• Color Challenge - Black and White: 90% of the items on the layout must be black or white (photo not included, that can be color if you wish), you may use a small amount of an accent color.
• Fast and Fabulous: Layout has to be done in 30-45 minutes start to finish. Each design team member will also be sharing their #1 tip for saving time when you're scrapping so be sure to look for each person's tip under their layout.

We hope that you enjoy the projects and are inspired by them. If you're ever wanting to look at past assignments you can find them in the "Previous Months DT Projects" folder on the left side of the blog as well. :)

November's Design Team Gallery

Hi there everyone! Today is the 5th of the month and you know what that means - a new DT gallery is up! :) Starting this month though - AMLT is doing something new. From this month on - instead of heading to the AMLT website and going to the gallery there, you can now find all of the design teams projects right here on the AMLT blog! All you have to do to see our latest assignments is to look over on the left hand side of the blog and click on "Current Month DT Projects" under the photo albums list. It's there that you will find pictures of our projects along with the supply lists, just like you found when you would see them in the gallery on the website. We are really enjoying the AMLT blog and all of our faithful readers and we hope that this will be an easier, more convenient way to see each month's design team projects. This month's assignment was for us to create a gift idea or holiday decor for either Thanksgiving or Christmas with our scrapping supplies. We hope that you'll be inspired to create some of your own. :) So, head on over to the new Current Month DT Project photo album and check it out! Let us know what you think! October Gallery and a Little Game...

Hi there everyone...

I feel like I've been really absent for awhile, I hope you have all been well your spot in the world!  I'm here today to give a huge shout out to the AMLT girls on their gallery assignments this month!  Have you seen them?  Remember, they post on the 5th of each month!

This month we worked on a "word of the day" challenge.  I'm a little bit spazzed I think, but the first two words that came to my mind when I posted the assignment were "positive" and "effort".  Maybe because at 5 in the morning (my starting work time) it was positively an effort to do anything, or maybe because I was just in a good positive mood, who knows, but I used the first two words I thought of.  I love their results:

Our Design Team Challenge Sponsored by Elizabeth was to do a monochromatic layout with at least 5 different manufacturers.  The girls found this one to be a little more challenging that it seemed at first, but the results are fantastic:

To entice you all to take a further look I've hidden a few mystery words in the gallery that make a secret phrase.  All clues with be surrounded by * * (the word is in the middle of the asterisks).  When you find the mystery phrase, come back here to the blog and post me a comment with the phrase.  I will throw anyone that gets the phrase right in a bucket and draw a winner for a little prize....

I've been a in a little bit of a blah mood lately, so giving someone a little shopping spree always makes me feel happy.  I've failed on my new proudcts list this week, but there are lots of new things in the store, along with some great things to come (Doodlebug, BG Wassill, Crate Paper).  I'll be posting a current list later today or tomorrow along with a new weekly feature coming to AMLT.  So stay tuned!
