From what I've heard, some of you Americans are having trouble with a girl called Irene. I hope that you are all safe! Today we had fall and summer at the same time. From the layout I posted a few days ago I pulled the color scheme that you can see here. I hope that you get some inspiration to pick up your scrapbooking supplies. Happy scrapping!
... has some pretty awesome papers that I love! I've hoarded some that I decided to use this week. Last year I turned 40. Me, my sisters and some of my cousins got together to celebrate my birthday in the wonderful Rosendal's Garden here in Stockholm. What a lovely day! I used the fun, green back of the Midway paper (State Fair collection) and the Emerald Flocked Letter Stickers (thickers) from American Crafts.
What are the newest design trends that you love?! I'm really LOVING the latest chevron trend, just like this patterned paper! Adds a bit of pizzazz, don't ya agree?
Here's a simple, fun layout with a few unique details for today!
*Added my own little punched border along the side with two different sizes of hole punches.
*Incorporated a little post-it strip into my layout. Can you find it?

This week I have a few fun new layouts to share with all my latest AMLT products! Lovin' my last order from AMLT and mixing it with some oldies but goodies. Another thing I'm loving: pop dots! You'll see them on this layout and another coming later this week!
Instagram is another one of my newest loves! Since I jumped on the Iphone train recently, I've loved having its easy camera + Instagram to capture some memories without lugging around my SLR camera. I created a file in Photoshop with lots of my Instagram shots and printed them out on an 8.5 x 11 paper so I could use a few on my scrappy pages. To make a few photos literally stand out, I added a few pop dots and it really brings a new dimension to the page.
Here's a glimpse at the supplies used to create this fun page!

Good morning! We've come to the end of our week together. I hope you've been inspired by my simple pages to get to work preserving the memories of your summer days.
My page today uses Cosmo Cricket's "Odds & Ends" collection. I wanted to scrap my son's acceptance letter to graduate school, and our thoughts about him being college-bound once more.
Hope you have an awesome weekend!
Good morning! The sun is back here in NH, and it is a beautiful morning. If the weather would just stay like this for the rest of the summer, I'd be a happy woman.
My page for today uses Doodlebug's cute "Welcome Home" collection plus some BasicGrey "Nook and Pantry" Woolies that I have had in my stash for a while. The event is a very unique birthday party that my daughter attended. It was held in a shop that offers cooking lessons for kids, and the group made their own treats: brownies, hot fudge sauce, and even the vanilla ice cream!
Wishing you a sweet day today!
Good morning! We're halfway through the week already. Time is flying, and I am feeling the need to make every minute count, and capture our summertime memories while they are still fresh in my mind.
My page today uses the "Beach Bum" collection from Fancy Pants, and some embellishment bits and pieces from My Mind's Eye.
Hope everyone is having a great week! Come back tomorrow for another simple summer page!
Good morning! Today I'm sharing a fun page using "Beach Babe" by Fancy Pants. I love the colors in the collection - I am a sucker for anything yellow this summer! I mixed in a little yellow gingham from another of my favorite recent collections, "Emma's Shoppe" by Crate Paper.
Here's a penny-pinching trick that I learned a while back when manufacturers began printing double-sided cardstock. If you're using a patterned paper for a background, cut out the center of your sheet. On this layout, I cut a two inch margin around the edges of my 12x12 paper, giving me a nice big useable block (the pink is actually the reverse of the fish paper) from the center! This trick is particularily handy when you love both sides of a patterned sheet, and can't decide which one to use - why not use both?
Have a great day!
Good morning! Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend creating summer memories - - - time to get scrapping! All this week, I will be sharing simple summertime pages that can be created in half an hour or less, and leave you plenty of time to get on with your summer fun!
My first super simple page uses My Mind's Eye "Lime Twist" collection papers, and three 4x6 photos. The two smaller photos are slices of the photo I took of the sand art bottles, and I pieced the photo grid together with them. Add a sticker to pull them all together, a tag title and a wee bit of journaling, and you've got a pretty page that didn't take all day to create!
Have a happy day!
