hi AGAIN, I'm so sorry it's me again. I realize 3 posts in one day are truly obnoxious. I just needed to Keep the One Minute Monday separate from the BG news. So today none of the regular team were able to sign up for the OMM, so I told myself self.. you must contribute.
Today I'm here to be an annoying reminder of the SKETCH IT challenge and to actually share MY OWN layout I did fitting the sketch to either inspire you to enter because you can do it better than me, or because I played along too :).
Sorry for the less than perfect photos, I'm not a good photographer by any means.
I actually did 2 layouts last week, I've had a lot on my mind and have been stressed to the max so I've found scrapping to be actually therapeutic. 2 Layouts is really good for me since normally I don't have time to do ANY. Things have been on the slowish side so I actually let myself justify it! My layouts took my WAY to long though since I switched back to 12 x 12 . The pages I did for my boys Christmas gift books last year were smaller and I seemed to do those a bit more quickly. I've been loving the look of 12's lately so decided those were what I wanted to do. Oh well, this was a few very good hours to myself, which I needed for a change. Here is the other:
So my very own One Minute Monday tips today are
1. Enter Sketch It! The deadline is this Friday June 26, and you can win a very cool prize!! Hey I did it, you can too. (I am obviously not entered to win my own prize!)
2. Share your work even if you think others are much better than you are. I know I am very self-conscience of everything I create. I realize my journaling strips are uneven, my rubons left strays, and imperfections are screaming. I have an amazing team that inspires you all the time, I see many of your pages in the magazines constantly! My novice pages seem very inadequate in comparison, but oh well they are mine and they were fun to create which is really the point, not perfect pages. The little ones in these pages loved them, and that is what counts!
3. Take some time for yourself and scrap. It's a good stress reducer :)
ps... thanks much to all the ladies who emailed and commented on my circle text problem. I was able to do it thanks to you!
