{One Minute Monday}

Hello Everyone;Amanda with you today.  Back in the fall my Kindergartner, Grayson, was learning about the letter "M."  He had show and tell and needed to take something to school resembling the letter.  When I asked Grayson what he wanted to take he said "MAGNETS."  Well, I knew I had to come up with a cutsie idea for him to impress his teacher!  Dec 2008 027_edited-1

We all have tons of scraps and this is a fabulous way to use them up.  I took a 1 1/8" circular punch, large clear flat on one side marbles (jumbo gems-found in the flower section of your craft stores) and super strong magnets from the hardware store.  Punch out your circle & put a dollop of clear drying glue on the marble.  Next, place the paper on the marble; let dry.  Last, glue your magnet to the marble and you are done.

His teacher loved them because I used the super strong magnets.  They will hold up virtually anything you could want to put on your refrigerator; they are so cheap and easy to make.  Fabulous gifts...and for Grayson...I think he may have earned brownie points...and yes, they give them out in Kindergarten!

Try them; they are a fantastic way to incorporate your scrapbooking into various areas of your home and work place. Change them out with seasons.  You'll be happy you did!

I love them!!!

LOVE this idea, Amanda! Great tip! :)

These are so cute and cool at the same time! I've tried making them before, but they got too heavy. Using super magnets is a super tip! ;-)
